General Admission Policy
Unless a specific featured headline act is clearly advertised and tickets are unquestionably purchased to see that performer, all tickets are sold for the comedy show as a whole, not for individual comedians.
All performers on mixed-bill shows are confirmed at the time of sale. However, line-ups may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
🔄 Line-Up Changes

• All acts are confirmed at the time of publication.  Support acts may change without notice due to circumstances beyond the control of Shaft Of Wit Ltd
  ​

• If a feature headline act changes, all ticket holders will be contacted with options offered. ​

• It is the booker’s responsibility to ensure their contact details are correct and to check their email (including spam/junk folders) for updates.

• Shaft of Wit Comedy is not responsible for missed communications due to email filtering or unread messages.

🌟 Featured Headline Acts If a featured headline act cancels:

• We will seek a replacement of similar profile and appeal.

• Ticket holders will be notified and given the option to request a refund if the replacement does not meet their expectations.

• If a new date is arranged, tickets will be automatically transferred and the booker will be informed.

• If you cannot attend the new date, a full refund will be offered.

❌ Event Cancellation or Postponement
If Shaft of Wit Comedy cancels or postpones an event:

• All ticket holders are entitled to a full refund, including booking fees (if applicable).

• In most cases, an alternative date will be offered.

• If rescheduled, tickets will be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement.

💳 Refunds & Exchanges

• All ticket sales are final.

• Refunds or exchanges may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• ​Resale Returns Where a refund is requested tickets will be returned to sale.  If those specific tickets are resold a reimbursment of 60% of the ticket value will be refunded. This is a resale option. Please think carefully before choosing this option to avoid any disappointment later.  

• We aim to maintain positive customer relationships and will always try to help resolve any ticket issues in a fair and transparant way..

• If an event is cancelled and alternative options are rejected,  refunds will be processed  to the original payment method within 5 days.

🎤 Event Changes

• The lineup, performers, and schedule are subject to change without notice.

• These changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund—except where a featured headline act was the sole reason for attendance.

🌪️ Force Majeure

• In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, public health emergencies, acts of terrorism), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event without liability. Refunds in such cases will be issued for the face value of the ticket only. Booking fees are non refundable.

🔁 Booking Changes
If you wish to make a change to your booking (e.g. move seats, change venues on the same night, or switch dates):

• A £5 admin fee per booking (not per ticket) will apply.

• No partial refunds will be issued if the new tickets are cheaper than the original booking or if they have been reduced or a promotional offer applied. .

🚫 Ticket Resale

• Tickets purchased through unauthorised resellers or unauthorised third-party websites may not be honoured.  

Shaft of Wit Comedy is not responsible for issues arising from tickets bought through unofficial channels.

• ​Shaft Of Wit Ltd offer a resale option for ticket holders. Do not purchase tickets from social media sellers with 'spare' or 'unwanted' tickets

⚖️ Liability

• Our liability is limited to the ticket price only.

• We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by ticket holders, including travel or accommodation. Where accommodation is booked, you are advised to pay for late cancellation for your peace of mind.
