Delightful Double Dates With Delaney
Gary Delaney returns to the Shaft Of Wit Comedy stage to headline a run of exclusive Big Comedy Club Nights, across East Anglia and beyond. If you were lucky enough to be at one of the six shows last year, I'm sure you will agree that he was on a different level of funny. A true master of his craft. I first booked him in 2004 and several more times before his TV career took off. He has always been a fine stand up, but right now he is the best Ive ever seen him, , there are very few comedians delivering the laughs as hard and as consistently as him, he controls the laughter and rides it like a wave.
These very special shows are among the last club appearances Gary will be making before he takes a step back to prepare his biggest ever tour, scheduled for 2026. His previous tour 'Punderland' went on for almost three years, so lets get together and enjoy this blessing.Gary Delaney & his funny friends, up close, live and local. Bring spare pants.
If you have never been to a Shaft Of Wit Comedy night before, expect a minimum of three top comedians and an MC, all from the pro comedy club or variety circuit. And expect laughter, lots of laughter
The shows are in three sections with an interval between each to catch your breath and fill up your glasses in the bar. Gary will top off these shows with one of his many roof-raising club sets and a sprinkling of new jokes he has been crafting between tours. We are all in for a treat!
