RICH HALL's appearances for Shaft Of Wit Comedy always cause a stir. Many comedy fans cannot believe that a huge star like Rich would agree to perform off-piste in village venues and market towns , but that's what is happening. That's what Shaft Of Wit Comedy do!. Here are some images from his May 22nd visit where he performed two sell out shows at The Norwich Puppet Theatre and Poringland Community Hall, His latest Tour ends on July 3rd and he has agreed to squeeze in another double appearance before he flies off to foreign lands. It's BIG Comedy in Small Places and it makes many people very happy.

What To Expect
Expect a full night of pro-level live comedy from some of the very best in the business. There will be Three comedians performing sets of 20-30 minutes each, along with a top MC keeping the night filled with laughter throughout. There will be two short intervals between the performances.
This is an adult show with an age restriction of 16+ at parent or guardian discretion. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

RICH HALL
Rich Hall is an Emmy‑winning American comedian celebrated for his cutting satire, deadpan delivery, and brilliantly grumpy stage persona. A former writer and performer on Saturday Night Live and Not Necessarily the News, he became a UK favourite through his acclaimed BBC Four documentaries exploring American culture with wit and bite. Hall’s alter ego, country‑singing ex‑con Otis Lee Crenshaw, earned him major international awards and a devoted following. A master of improvisation and musical comedy, he continues to tour globally, appearing on QI, Have I Got News For You, and Radio 4 with his unmistakably acerbic, intelligent humour.
PHIL NICHOL
Phil Nichol is an internationally acclaimed, award‑winning comedian, actor and musician. A former member of cult trio Corky and the Juice Pigs, he has performed in 52 countries, filmed five comedy specials — including the Edinburgh Comedy Award–winning The Naked Racist — and toured globally with his hit show Your Wrong.
On screen he’s appeared in Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Graham Norton Show, MADtv, Catastrophe, Uncle, and BBC4’s BAFTA‑nominated Holy Flying Circus. On stage he’s starred in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Taboo, and Twelve Angry Men.

MATT BRAGG
Matt is one of the UK’s fastest‑rising comedians, known for his beautifully crafted observations, beautifully dry delivery and effortlessly funny storytelling. A 2026 Latitude Festival One to Watch, he’s toured as the hand‑picked support for Ricky Gervais, John Bishop, Jason Manford, and Harry Hill, earning rave reviews everywhere he goes.
