As a legend reaches a certain point in their career, it's time to reflect on a life well lived. Sol Bernstein has reached that moment, inviting us to hear his tales of showbiz, musings on a changing world, and reflections on life as an ordinary Jew with extraordinary wit, talent, and chutzpah.
Born in Ukraine, Bernstein is a singer, dancer, comedian, magician, actor, and musician. Rated Best Triangle Player by Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington, he has graced global stages, from The London Palladium and Carnegie Hall to Caesars Palace and even Scunthorpe Working Men’s Club.
Despite his contributions to the careers of Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Marcel Marceau, he has received little recognition. Having survived the Pogroms in Russia and Nazi Germany, he’s no stranger to hardship—whether life-threatening or just everyday struggles—which fuel his comedy. His performances have earned him friendships with Burt Bacharach, James Brown, and Harry Hill, yet he’s still waiting for the fame.
Now in his 80s, Bernstein has plenty to say—but only so much time left to say it. Catch this living legend while you still can.
