Kai Barron
Kai is the Master Shaftsman at Shaft Of Wit Comedy. Booking, producing and promoting all the Shaft Of WIt shows. He is not particularly comfortable writing about himself in the third-person.
With a background in Mime and performing arts, (and more-so telesales and hospitality) he started out as a street performer in Germany and took to stand up comedy in 2003 at The Bunch Of Grapes in Bristol. He gained experience hosting and performing for Mirth Control across the South West Counties. He launched his first monthly comedy night at The Dickens Bar in Torquay.
A career as a teacher and a side-hustle as a comedy promoter ran parallel for many years, hosting regular shows in the West Country and In 2014 he moved to Norfolk, where he slowly built the Shaft Of Wit Comedy brand to whatever state it is in as you read this.
